The Natural Heritage Mission focuses its efforts on addressing the challenge of protecting, restoring and valorizing the natural resources.The two governance projects of the Mission, the Thematic Community and Institutional Dialogue projects are working closely to uptake the knowledge and results produced in the Mediterranean area to transfer them to other contexts and to mainstream them into effective policies.

The Thematic Community project will offer a chance to value lessons learned and utilize valuable results. It will be supported by the coordination efforts of the Institutional Dialogue project, which will strengthen relationships among key actors in the Mediterranean region, aiming to identify opportunities to enhance collaboration for policy harmonization and innovative governance practices.

Finally, the Mission will increase the visibility and impact of the results of the future thematic projects co-financed by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme.
